- Jason has three children; one son is a NC State graduate, his daughter is a UNC Wilmington graduate, and the youngest son is a graduate from Appalachian State and is now attending the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, SC.
- Jason is a terrible golfer but will meet you on any course for a round, and is very familiar with all the Charlotte area golf communities.
