- Born and raised in Miami, FL, Laurin’s Father was a pilot for Pan American Airways and loved the opportunities it afforded for travel to all kinds of places, including Nepal, Bangkok, Europe, and Egypt, ultimately cultivating a lifelong love of travel and learning.
- Worked for National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, The Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk Botanical Garden, Cheekwood Art Museum, and the Botanical Gardens. Work experience focusing on development/fundraising, capital campaigns, and special event planning.
- Laurin loves time with her family, yoga, pickleball, cooking, hiking, photography, and traveling anywhere.
