The 5th Annual 2021 Strides For Shelter race is in the books. The Dickens Mitchener team of over 20 runners joined the record-breaking 600 participants on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Proceeds from the race will benefit Hope House Foundation of Huntersville. The Hope House Foundation’s mission is to provide transitional housing and supportive services to women and children who are experiencing homelessness.
In just 4 short years, the Canopy Housing Foundation, the sponsor organization for Strides For Shelter, has raised over $65,000 from the race proceeds. The proceeds have benefited several worthy local beneficiaries who are all working to address the needs of the homeless.
Thank you all for your continued support for the 5th Annual Strides for Shelter. We are making a difference by creating hope for those in need. The weather was perfect and our team enjoyed some time together outside of the office.
