Dickens Mitchener had so much to celebrate in 2021. The company offices opened back up in April after being closed for nearly a year due to the pandemic, we celebrated 30 years in residential real estate in October, raised over $110,000 for the Homeowners Impact Fund, and our 111 agents sold over $1 Billion in real estate! With the housing shortages plaguing the country last year, our agents were responsible for 1322 transactions totaling $1.02 billion in sales. This is an average of $9M per agent. We couldn’t be prouder of our agents, the staff who supported them all, and all the vendors who support them as well.
In addition to our top agents, we also celebrated our Rookie of the Year, Anne Stuart Mitchener. Anne Stuart joined the firm in 2020. She went through training and never looked back. She sold 13.85 units in 2021, an incredible number for a rookie. Oh, and did we mention she was also planning a wedding during part of that time as well? Congratulations Anne Stuart, we are so proud of you.
The company sends out a survey each year asking for nominations for our Spirit Award. The person who receives the spirit award is always someone who goes the extra mile, is helpful, and embodies our company values. This year we had 30 nominations, which is just amazing, and in the end it was Jane Lemmond who received the most votes. Jane has been a steady presence in the office since the start of COVID and you can always count on a friendly smile when you see her. Congratulations Jane, you definitely embody the DMA Way.
