The Homeowners Impact Fund is celebrating 2 years in the Charlotte area. Since its inception, the fund has raised close to $200,000 and distributed funds to Roof Above, Safe Alliance, and Charlotte Family Housing. These three local organizations are housing advocates that were have been chosen for their work with our homeless neighbors in helping them find housing in the Charlotte, NC area. Enjoy the Homeowners Impact Fund update below.
How it Works
The idea is simple. If each person involved in a real estate transaction gives a little, it will add up to a lot. In the Charlotte area alone, this could raise over $3M per year. The goal is to spread this movement across the United States to the communities who are also experiencing a large number of homeless neighbors.
New Partnership with Charlotte Real Producers
The fund was recently chosen to partner with Charlotte Real Producers and was the beneficiary at their 5 year anniversary celebration. Over $22,000 was raised in a single evening. It is partnerships like these that help spread the word to the surrounding community.
Our Partners
The Spring Giving Campaign was also launched in the month of February. The goal of the captains is to sign on 200 new partners by Memorial Day. There are currently 118 partners who have joined the fight to end homelessness in the Charlotte metro area. Want to learn more about how you can become a partner? See the Partner page on the website or reach out to info@homeownersimpactfund for more information.
