How Does U.S. Military on the Move® Compare To Other Military-Affiliated Rewards Programs?
U.S. Military on the Move® is a free real estate reward and information program that allows you to earn cash equivalent back when you buy or sell a home.
To be eligible: You MUST register with U.S. Military on the Move®.
WHO? All Active, former, and retired military, wounded warriors, and military family members, and first responders.
WHAT? Military on the Move (MOM) is a real estate rebate program based on the actual price of the home eligible members buy or sell. Unlike other military-affiliated rewards programs based on a price range, the MOM reward is based on the actual price, which usually means more money to the member.
WHERE? MOM is available with Dickens Mitchener.
WHEN? The rewards can be used during the real estate transaction. For example, if your reward is $1,200.00, you can use the mortgage company or the closing/title company will allow. Other popular rewards programs send you a check 3-5 weeks after closing. MOM gives you the reward as an immediate benefit of the real estate transaction.
HOW? Buyers and sellers can register for MOM by contacting a Dickens Mitchener agent and signing the eligibility form.
WHY? To say thank you for your or your family member’s service to our country
- The reward is based on the actual sales price, not a range, so it is usually more money.
- Reward can be used during the buyers’ or sellers’ side of the real estate transaction for closing costs, warranties, inspections, upgrades, etc., instead of receiving it 3-5 weeks after closing.
- Military on the Move is strictly a rewards program and is not associated with a specific mortgage company.
Program registration and a military photo I.D. are required to participate. Please contact our Military on the Move Associate, Catharine Pappas at cpappas@dickensmitchener, or call (704) 661-2402 to learn more about the program, or visit Military on the Move online here.
Rewards are not allowed in all states. In some states, a gift card or commission credit at closing may be provided in lieu of the rewards bonus. You must register with the U.S. Military on the Move® before contacting a real estate agent and be represented by the assigned real estate firm at closing to qualify. All real estate transactions are negotiable. Other terms and conditions may apply.
