Our amazing agents once again volunteered their time for the Canopy Housing Foundation‘s annual Realtors® Care Day 2023. This year was the 14th successful, productive, and rewarding event. The event was held across 3 counties and 15 sites around the Charlotte metro region.
This year, exterior repairs were performed on 15 homes and nonprofits in Mecklenburg, Iredell, and Haywood counties, bringing our official 14 year total to 315 sites.
The mission of the foundation is to promote homeownership and provide funding to create housing opportunities. The 15 community projects this year had huge impacts on people’s lives who were touched by the generosity of the Realtor® community. In addition, the foundation collected over 8,000 pounds of food through two Food Drives in Mecklenburg and Haywood counties. Thank you to everyone who came out to Realtors® Care Day to work on the home. It was a beautiful day to give back to the community.
