The report was based on dating satisfaction, social satisfaction, dating affordability, and the percentage of singles. Some of the challenges with dating are proximity. Charlotte was one of the cities where the percentage of singles is higher, therefore giving local proximity scores higher than other cities. The East Coast, in general, scored higher with 6 of the top 10 cities hailing from the East.
