“This alluring mid-tone features an enchanting duality, capturing the spotlight with endlessly classic appeal and reassurance,” Andrea Magno, color marketing and development director at Benjamin Moore, said in a press release. The color represents the blend of modern and traditional styles.

The trend for the 2024 Color of the Year seems to be peaceful tones. This is also true for the Sherwin-Williams chosen color. Upward is a bright and breezy color described by Sue Wadden, director of color marketing as bringing “to life that carefree, sunny day energy that elicits a notion of contentment and peace. With this color, we invite our consumers to take a pause and infuse a new sense of ease and possibility into their spaces.”
Cracked Pepper by Behr

Cracked Pepper by Behr is a perfect neutral in black, yes black tone. This color adds immediate sophistication to any interior. In the photo provided, it transforms a dining room into a cozy space by day, and a sophisticated feel at night for a dinner party. “It truly feels organic. It feels like it definitely blends in with the landscapes and the plants. I think it’s like a really inky soil-y color, which is nice,” says Sarah Fishburne, The Home Depot’s director of trend and design.
